this was a big roast i got from krogers a while back during the late winter. forgot to post it. cooked it on the uds. turned out real well.

rubbed it with rub before smoking.

ever since i built the uds i find myself using it often. even more than my commercial ones.

Nice looking smoke. I have access to a clean, never used drum. Was thinking of making a UDS, just don't know if I'm up for the challenge.

youll never regret it if its done right. they work efficient and real well.

Real nice loooking roast there. Love smoking roasts....always thought ther're a much underappreciated way to cook them. Yours is an excellent example for folks~ thanks for sharing.

Looks fantastic...is that like a beef chuck roast? My wife always conplains her roast done in the oven during the winter months are dry. Now that nice weather is back maybe we should put one in the smoker.
