This is how I make my Beef Pho. Here is the line up:

That purple can is good by itself but mixing the two is really good. Used 2 cups water, 1 1/2 Tbsp of the Harvest and 1 Tbsp the Brown one. Also a dap of that Ginger. Man is that good. I use in all kinds of stuff.

Once broth is simmering I add veggies and simmer 5 minutes. Mean while boil noodles for about 3 minutes and add to bowl with spouts, Thai Basil and beef sliced very thin. I just grew these sprouts in a mason jar.

Pour hot broth into bowl and stir. I add more basil as I am eating it. This is better than some restaurants I have had.

Good to the last drop!

Pho is an experience to try.
chopsaw chopsaw yea what FA said…..it’s been about 15 years or so back but when I was working in a project in the Seattle area, we would get beef pho at a place down town that was off the chart….they would use A5 Waygu and mixed with the broth it was an experience!!!! They put the meat and veg in the bottom just like Brian did above and then you poured the broth over it yourself out of a tea kettle….. you gotta try it!

Ha! That's about the time I first tried it, too.
Mine was in the Columbia Tower in Seattle, run by a Vietnamese gal, with her mother in the back making the Pho. It came in a huge, freaking china bowl (not plastic) for about $6. There's nothing like soup made by somebody's mother. Unfortunately, they are no longer there. I really miss that place.

Chopsaw, do you by chance remember the name of this place?

Thanks for posting the pictures. Pho looks great.

We love a good pho. I'll look for those two cans at the Asian market. The secret to good pho is the broth and it would cut the preparation time way down.

Out of curiosity.......what is the sodium per serving on each of the cans?

Looks great Brian. Nice work.

Right now I’m boiling down some oxtail to make broth for some sort of a cross between Pho and Ramen. Should be delicious.

Thanks John
never had it , but heard of it . Looks great Brian .
Thanks Rich. You need to find a place to try. I would much prefer to make the broth but would cost to much to do. Even bones are expensive now.

Love it and you did it right!!!
Thanks Civil.
Looks great. Love a great Pho.
I don't use any of the packaged mixes to reduce the salt level down to my taste.

Pho is an experience to try.

I'm like Chop, I've never had it but seen it at several places. I bet it's good.

Hey Brian, did you see Sherman is getting an HEB? Supposed to be located South at 75 & 1417! I've never been in one of those either.

Your Pho looks good!

Going to be walking distance from me as I live right there at 1417 and 75. but still about 5 years away. I been going to the one in Melissa. We have a new PHO place in Sherman but not been there. About $15 a bowl. Dragon Thai & Vegetarian Cuisine in Denison also has. I got it to go and was not impressed but might have been better if I ate it at the restaurant. There was one in Durant that was great but closed down.

$15-$19 per bowl in my town, it is very good and the portion is huge. I get 3 meals out of it.
