I made a bowl Monday and forgot to put the beef in so I had to make again. It was so good I did not notice I forgot until about the middle of the bowl. I not sure that it was better without the beef. I been using this mix for years and its pretty good. Just doctor it up a little:
I bought this and did not realize its meant for one huge pot. It comes with two big tea bags. I just steeped them and put in ice cubes.
Got everything prepped. I had added a couple non traditional items to add some nutrients.
I use 2 cups liquid for most my soups. Added 2 tsp of each mix, a ice cube and 3 squirt's of fish sauce. Than grate a chuck of ginger. Bring to simmer and taste and adjust. Put veggies except green onion and jalapeno's. Let simmer about 10 minutes while I get he noodles ready. Put the rest of stuff in bowl including meat, noodles and bean sprouts and pour soup into bowl. Several squeezes of lime and a bunch of basil. This is really good for a fast Pho. Just using that purple can is good. The other one does bring it up a notch.
Made some Korean cucumbers. Man is this stuff good. Will be making some Zucchini Lasagna today.
