Base for MB 30 inch electric smoker

HAs any one built a base for the MB electric smoker?  I have a cranky back and getting down to work with the smoker causes it to flare-up.  I know MB sells one, but $60.00 seems a little high.

Yeah, that seems a bit steep to me.  I plan to do something but haven't gotten to it yet.  As for right now, I've got it sitting on cinder blocks stacked two high.  Total cost was about $5 and I'll re-purpose them when I get something else figured out.  I'm sure others have better or more permanent solutions.

I'm waiting to see others pictures also.  I am over 6' tall and cooking on the ground is not the best.

I've been looking for some kind of shelf to put mine on also. I'd like something with a lower shelf underneath to put a mailbox mod.

Guys! Go to your local used furniture store, ever town has one and look at end tables and night stands. When someone fionally asks what you are looking for you'll be amazed at what they will then want to show you. Even an old Navy/Navy store will have something and they'll all be cheaper than buying the stand.
