I started cutting out the old trailer and installing a new one before the freezing rain hit and shut me down.

RW,  What do you use for the (protective coat) paint on this cooker?  The rattle can jobs that I use don't seem to last long.  Btw, very nice job so far on the restoration!................................Oops, just seed your paint post lol!  Great info!

Took advantage of a break in the rain to get a little work done this morning.

Finished up welding trailer, and plugged hole at end of cc where pos firebox used to be. I was going to blend it in, but at last minute decided to do it this way, ....oh well, at least it's something different and will make people wonder

HTD rw.... I thought that hole was there to scrape the drippings off of the RF plate.... Now, is that tank end below the RF plate or did you plug the hole....

No Dave, the hole was from the old firebox, i covered it up with the plate, the hole is still there but sealed inside the cc

I have not started building the reverse flow plate/pan yet.
