Decided to toss some ribs on with Jeff's rub and pecan and maple. I cut some bones off and wrapped them with bacon also.
 
Going to do some beans as well unfortunately they will not get the smoke treatment, as the wife would not want them, but here's the main players.
 
Looking good from here. I'll have to try the bacon deal. Jeff's rub is a good way to go.

Looking good b-one!  I've never cooked beans on the smoker, but I wouldn't think that they would take on much smoke.  Am I wrong about this?

Lots of us do it I think it's a great change of pace. Just stir them up every half hour or so they can get a lot of flavor on the smoker.
