Man that's horrible. I feel sorry for everyone affected by the floods out there. Dont' know what is worse - that or our California fires.

Multiple levee breaks on numerous rivers....swept the calves away in the flood waters to drown.

My neighbor raises Angus.... He lost 50 calves this year to the cold... A few years ago he lost 84....
50 calves is $50,000 in 11 months....

That really is a DISASTER. Can't help but feel sorry for all those people.
A friend of mine up here runs about 2500 head, and I know how much a good calving spring means to him.
