Been quite awhile since I checked in on this group, I'm still on this site on occasion.

It's all around NE. What are you looking for? A cord, a few logs, chunks a felled tree to cut your own?

I'm in Vt, @crazymoon is in Northern NH, @tropics is in Mass.(Although I haven't seen him logged on in a while), and @normanaj is from RI. There are a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head.

I'm not still in the NE--I fled as soon as I retired.

But when I still lived in NJ, I was a member of the Northeast BBQ Society. Good group. I highly recommend their Class and Cook, though I think it just wrapped up for this year. When we did it, Day 1 was learning to cook competition BBQ (ribs and chicken) with some very experienced, excellent pit masters. Day 2, you did it again, without the coaching, with turn-in times and judging standards exactly the same as in an actual competition. Now no matter how many times my wife moves our "Best Ribs" trophy off of the mantle, it always seems to find its' way back up there.

Looks like they've condensed their Class and Cook down to a single day.

A couple of years later, I got my BBQ Judge certification at a program NEBS offered.

The wife and I spend a lot of time in Gilford. When she's fully retired NH is where we'll be a movin'.
