Any I'm looking for a source for the MAK 2 Star General ceramic ignitor

Some credit card companies will issue you a one time use number for situations like this.
Virtual credit cards also. Use as many times as you want then delete, I will use them when pay services like PayPal aren't accepted.

Now thats a great observation. Considering there are many on this forum who have the MAK grill and are facing or perhaps will later have this same problem getting a group buy going and fixing what needs fixin or stocking up on a spare part like an ignitor that will fail at some point as a spare. I'd take a couple myself at this point.
100 units = $950 + $180 tooling/mold charge with a 35 day lead time. It would take a fair number of MAK users to make that palatable, i.e. enough buyers to cover the initial purchase.

Still no response to the email sent to Grill Parts America the other day, even though their web site says they respond within 4 hours generally or within 24 hours. Tried to call, and the message said "this mailbox is full, and cannot accept new messages". So, I'm not holding my breath. Will give the benefit of the doubt, since they are in the Chicago area; maybe they're slammed from the recent Windy City Smokeout event.

Could be a good return on your investment! Buy them for $ 10 plus shipping costs... sell on the lower end of price mentioned earlier around $45. Would maybe take some time though
