Anova Nano SV update (March 25, 2018)

When Anova notified those who had pre-ordered the Nano SV that shipping was being delayed last year, I was one of those who chose to wait as I wanted the unit and, heck I already paid that credit card off. This weekend I had looked to see if there was any update on their website. I could not find anything new, and nor could I find any update via a google search. So I emailed their customer service address from their website.

I received an answer (on the weekend no less):

Hi David,

Thank you for your email. The Pre Order Nanos are scheduled to ship out in batches in May. Once shipped, you will receive a separate email along with your tracking number in it.

I was very surprised to receive a response on a weekend, and happy to hear they are shipping in May. So if you are one of those who ordered and has been waiting, looks like our waiting may soon be over.

What’s the hold up? I received the preorder email last year as well. Glad I passed. It’s been a long while.

I can't figure out the delay either. I pre-ordered one for a Christmas present for my oldest son, so when they offered the regular Anova last year, I took the offer.
