I'm all in with the 22.5" model. Can't wait to get home and assemble the beauty! First run will be a nice chuckie from my cow.

Sounds like you like the new rig, Mike. Glad to hear that!

Lots of WSM praise lately. They are pretty slick looking, but wonder about the ash build-up at the bottom? Is that an issue?

Alot of new WSM smokers do Qview at the beginning of a great smoking experience ( qview of the new smoker)

I am a huge fan of the WSM.. I am either using it or my custom wood burner. Most of the others just get left out in the cold these days.

Ash buildup is pretty bad on long cooks when you use briquettes.. lump is highly recommended and does not leave nearly as much ash.

Having said that, there is plenty of room below the charcoal grate for ash to fall and a gentle kick on the legs every few hours does the trick for me.
