Good evening, Folks:
Just wanted to drop by and do the obligatory introduction. Name here is Ken and I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida, about 50 miles south of Tampa (Sarasota / Bradenton area). Santa was nice enough to bring me a brand new MES 30" electric smoker for Christmas which I am dying to start using. I have already done the 3hr "season in" period and I am hoping to get some meat going very soon. I have had some previous experience with an old Webber charcoal smoker and had mixed results, however I am super excited at having the MES and I am hoping for good things to come.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on the forums and learning as much as I can.
