Another Newb in MN

Hi Folks,

Just stopping by to say hello.  Been browsing the forum for a few months and decided to join in.

I don't have a smoker yet but looking at the Masterbuilt from Sam's or the Smokin-it 2 on Amazon

Since this is my first and new to it I felt the the one at Sam's would be fine but will try to educate myself before making a purchase in the next couple weeks.

Hey Mike, Welcome to SMF!!

The Smokin-it and MES are different animals, and the price is waaay different too.

I own (3) of the MES 40's from Sams Club, and they have served me well

Where about in MN do you live?

Don't know much about either smoker, I do know that lots of folks like the MES40. The price is right at Sam's too. Welcome fellow Minnesotan.....
