Guys..gals.. my names chris and I cook, garden, hotrod, general guy stuff. On the smoking meat.  I've used a large big green egg for years. It's a friend's but we cook together. A couple brisket, many pork shoulders.. chicken.. beef ribs..the works. Anyway.. a friend got a traeger. I was hooked. I bought a used jr. Elite and rocked that with mods for a bit. I'm 3 weeks in my 3 to 4 week wait for the rectec 680.. I bought Jeffs recipes. Basically it's go time.. when it shows I'll be back posting and asking. .
