Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm going to build a reverse flow smoker out of my old 60 gallon air compressor that died on me. I know it's only 1/8" thick but it's what I have... I've been smoking pork shoulders and brisket for around 10 yrs on the holiday's in the summer. I've always used just an El cheapo offset smoker but I really want to make a reverse flow myself.
I've done some math and drawn up part of the plans and just wanted to get any input y'all might have for me. Thanks
MATERIALS: I HAVE ON HAND
*60 gal. Air Tank (20"×48")
*Several sticks of 1x1x20' square tubing
*Half sheet of expanded metal (leftover from my trailer build)
*Half a sheet of 10 guage steel (leftover from my Toyota Frame repair)
*Several pieces of angle (forget the size right now)
TOOLS:
*Primeweld 60 Plasma
*140 Lincoln mig (.030 wire)
*Pressure pot sandblaster
*Grinders with numerous cut off disks and numerous flap wheels.
