man this stuff is good! whipped out the chefs choice slicer -go alot more consistent thickness. very handy! spiced, sat over night, smoked to preferred dryness. Filler the Rec Tec and the extra shelf. had to kinda jam it all on there fit...but it worked out.

Jerky looks good! Looks like your rec tec gets a lot of use and attention. I thought that was an offset after glancing at the picture.

Feel like it does in spurts. went on alongish dry spell due pandemic and work. Its real nice to have good cooking weather. its very comfortable here this time of year.

I used my three day weekend to cook up all I could. loved every minute - wish I had more.
