Just joined, so figured it would be neighborly to introduce myself. I'm Adam from Hawaii [yes, it's as nice as they say it is. LOL!]. I consider myself a novice when it comes to smoking. Been smoking for a few years. Have a 22.5" WSM. Done quite a bit of ribs, some brisket & pulled pork. Also gave sausage and ribeye roast a try. All results seems fine and family seems well fed. Always trying new rubs & sauces....keeps it interesting.
Newest gadget is a BBQ Guru ATC wifi system. Gave it a test run [OK, a couple of racks of ribs were involved in the test]. Seems like it will be quite handy on the larger meats. Not sure about the wifi part, but cool that I can use my iphone as the receiver...just didn't seem to work perfectly. Smoking again in a couple of days, so more "testing" will be conducted.
Anyway, just wanted to say "Aloha". Looking forward to learning a lot more about smoking.
