So after 8 yrs I I’m giving away my Chargriller 5050 with firebox
It’s been good for a quick burger but I prefer any of my charcoal grills over it.. no more propane for me!!

Switching to charcoal as the Mem Day charcoal sales are going on. Great timing!

I still keep a small propane grill around if I want something quick, but 99.9% of my cooks are done over charcoal. You can't beat the flavor!

I have a Holland grill on my back deck that hasn't been lit one time since I got a kamado grill. I thought I would still use it for quick things but never do. I can have the kamado ready to rock in around 15 minutes. I also have a small Traeger tailgater that while I hate its poor temp control is super fast for just a small meal for the wife and I.

Same for me with my smokers. I have an MES40 and bought a nice 270 Smokers vertical cabinet fueled by charcoal. Have not used the MES in well over a year now. Charcoal for the win :)

I'm lazy & still use my Weber Genesis quite a bit.
Especially the side burner with a CI pan!
It keeps the mess outside!
