Yeah, sent my wife and came back with full spares, good enough and only $1.79
They're always fattier so I don’t wrap (which i prefer anyway) or they drown in grease … and pick/use the rib tip meat in baked beans.
Always a silver lining.

If I saw spares at $1.79/lb, I would have gone that way.

This thread is driving me nuts!

All I see those insane deals everyone gets in the Kroger thread and finally a great deal at Aldi's and I'm in easy driving distance of 3 and they aren't doing it.

Bummer.

Hate that yours wasn't doing it, Norman. Hard to beat St. Louis ribs for the price.

Yeah, I started to like baby backs, but getting hard to fine any that aren’t “extra meaty” (aka loin attached) and you can’t cook just right. It seems they are favored by my FOTB friends, which makes sense.
Have not yet but gonna try hot and fast individual with those.
StLouis or full spares now my go to (and always less $ to boot)

Saw they had flank steak on sale so I went to get those for some fajitas.

Didn’t look at ad close they were pre marinated. But had mind set on fajitas. Meat had that pre marinade texture but worked out ok.

Yeah, some of their stuff is pre-seasoned. Brisket is usually salt and pepper and something else (Texas, maybe). Don't remember since I only get the salt and pepper.

Their pre- seasoned pork tenderloins are good, as well. Tried the peppercorn, teriyaki, and Italian tenderloins. Prefer the peppercorn, but none are bad.

The ribs are usually just unseasoned vac sealed like you buy anywhere else, though. At least any I have bought there.
