I'm looking to start cooking more meals at home. I've heard great things about air fryers, but I'm unsure which one would be best for me. My main focus would be cooking chicken and steaks with it. Any recommendations or advice on choosing the right air fryer for these purposes would be greatly appreciated!
I never ended up getting an air fryer and still manage to cook at home nearly 100% of the time.
I don't know the various brands, but you can do as i suggested last year - take a look at thrift stores and see what they have. New these air fryers start around $40/$50 and go up from there.
Something i do know about that you could take a look at are sous vide immersion water circulators. It's a stick/wand that you put in a vessel of water and then your food goes in a plastic bag and into the water. One of the three i've been using to make hard boiled eggs was ~$60 on amazon. It's not as fancy as the other two I have, but works quite well.
Another kitchen appliance that you can check into is a slow cooker, a crockpot is a brand name. You could get a roast, throw it in the slow cooker with a little water in the morning and it'll be ready in the evening. This may not seem appealing, since an air fryer can cook things in a matter of minutes, so you'll need to weigh all these things and decide for yourself.
