Aftermarket Upgrades for Pit Boss Pro 1100

My several year old Pitboss needs new grates as the stock ones have cracked on me. I also need a new sliding plates for the center pot and it has apparently rusted to the point where its falling apart. Before I look to buy the stock parts (which seem to cost as much a the grill did new), are there aftermarket upgrades that someone sells? It has been a long time since I have been on the forum and remember seeing posts years ago.

I don’t know of any parts. If they are that expensive, might be time to upgrade? Maybe something with PID controls? Just my thinking.

I can't tell you the last time I slid mine open, I wouldn't mind a solid plate and stainless grates. I will look for some when/if mine ever wear out, coming up on 4 years old, didn't think the pro had been out that long.

I got mine in 2019. It works great and didn't want to upgrade yet because of a few replaceable parts but the costs is so high that it might make sense to. I was looking at the charcoal gravity ones lately but lots of issues with those it seems.
