   All,

I’m looking to upgrade my cheap vertical smoker for something more legit. I found this smoker online/Ebay (link below) and I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with it? It’s located in GA and I live in MA . I'm unable to see the smoker before I buy it so if anyone has any experience with it please let me know…

Thanks,

Laxin

Wow...thanks for the info! I'm really looking for a unit that would works properly "out of the box". I don't have the tools or expertise to make those modification. Do you have any other recommendations for a quality smoker for around $2K?

For 2k you could probably bring some custom plans to a local weld shop and have one built the way you want it? Just an idea. maybe worth checking out.

I have a guy who lives around me that will build whatever you want. He has some of his own plans, but will make what you want as well....... For 2K you can get one heck of a custom build done.....if you need help with the plans and numbers DaveOmak is a great resource to utilize.....

If you add your location to your profile it would help get you conected with someone local for you......

Thanks for the replies. I live in Watertown Massachusetts which is right out side Boston. Smoking/BBQ'ing isn't huge up here so it's a bit harder to get a pit. I like the idea of bringing plans to a local weld shop. First, I'll need to get my hands on some plans that will yield a quality pit.

Just keep researching. I think you can buy blue prints online. But I think that would be the best bang for your buck.
