I smoked 2 chickens yesterday and it took more than 2 hours. My temp in the bbq was 220. any segestions please on how to increase the amout of heat. I turned over my ash pan as a baffle. If I use tin foil to cover the bbq will that help? Thanks for all the input.

Smoke the chickens for an hour or 2 then finish in the gas grill or oven.... Dave
