I’m waiting on some more (diff flavors) pellets to come in. I was wondering if I could toss some chips in with the pellets in my AMNPS?

I use the 12" tube , and mix chips with the pellets all the time . Not sure how it would work with the tray . The chips I buy are a fine , almost shredded chip . Lots of small pieces . Works well in the tube . Chigger creek is the brand .

Give it a shot . Just don't bunch up the chips .

You ever go to Novacich's market in Collinsville ? I have a guy I work with that brings me the " Pete's seasoning " Really good low salt rub . There's a bbq supply house in Collinsville that sells the chigger creek products if your interested .

Good luck .

I have never been there. My wife has family in Edwardsville and Troy. So next time we are up that way I’ll have to check it out.

I will say that this worked. I added a handful of chips to the pellets and they smoked perfectly.

Glad it worked for you . I just did some bacon with oak pellets and apple chips . Gives a great smoked flavor .
