OK I have been told that if you make burgers in a kettle, put a pork chop in the center of the grill and then cover with the lid. It is supposed to add an awesome flavor to the beef from the sizzling pork vapor. Anyone try this?

If it works I would think a chunk of pork fat or bacon would be better, especially if it was dripping on the coals.

Hmmm...

A chunk of bacon. Start it a bit earlier than the burger so it finishes at the same time. Slice it up and put it on the burger....
