ABT'S in Hua Hin

  1. I saw the pictures from Deserttoad's ABT's and they looked yummie , so I gave it a try also.

    Ingredients for the filling : coriander , spring onions , deep fried garlic crumbs (sac) , cream cheese , seasoned with black pepper.



    Chopped everything real fine and mixed with the cheese.

    Then the hard labor... filling up the peppers , 1 hour and some swearing later , the floor full with the seeds of the buggers ended up with this :


    After 1 hour in the kettle at 160* C. :


    Raised the temperature and 30 minutes more gave this on the plate :


    Served them as a side dish with Vietnamese styled grilled pork :


    Cut in the Asian way :


    My doll gave me a kiss after diner , so I guess it was OK...

    Although 1 mistake : I wrapped the abt's in the wrong way , the cheese came out. [​IMG]
