I’m just getting used to writing on forums so please bear with me. I’m a 40 year old British guy living in China. I like getting my hands dirty and fixing/making things and obviously I love bacon and smoked meats. 10 years ago I struggled to find decent bacon so I decided to study a bit and even made a small hood that could be placed on top of a kebab bbq. The hood acts like a chamber that forces smoke and heat over the meat. It smoked bacon pretty well and I got addicted to smoking meat. I e got a couple of nippers to keep me busy most of the time but when I’m free I’m always looking to do something with meat. That led me here and I’m super happy to have found this website.
