The spinner is just a cheapie from Walmart that will fit a lot of different grills. The wood came from a Bradford pear that the wind had downed last year. It was a very mild smoke flavor.

Again Thanks guys

Wow that looks good! Big LIKE!

Is that by chance Bradford pear wood? I've got a giant stack of it from where I had a tree fall last year and was wondering how it was with smoking.

Amazing... I simply love the simplicity of that pit. I must get a set up like that. Amazing looking cook.

Making my mouth water!!!

Love the set up as well, what's the pit made of, rims? Seems like a simple design but productive and could be use for chicken pork.... now you got my gears cranking

Yup its made of rims the old split rims which are hard to find now. Use to take it camping as our fire ring (we spent all summer at the same campground). I have done turkey, beef and pork on it and I believe a Weber 22" grate will fit on top.

Is that considered a Baltimore pit beef with the horsey and onion?
