the smartest women in the world ( my mother ) turned me on to this years ago . when making a meatloaf, instead of cutting up onions , bell pepper and adding tomato sauce or ketchup as most recipes call for, just add about 1/2 or 3/4 of a jar of good salsa , depending on how big the loaf is . if you like it spicy , get the hot stuff , if not just use the regular . its delicious .
