Glad to hear Momma (a keeper btw) beat it.. we were worried for you guys...

Know I recommend you not teach her to shoot it... just in case she gets mad at ya (which you know she will) ... LOL...

Thanks everyone, y'alls prayers and well wishes worked for sure.

Keith>>>>>she shoots better than me. I once asked her how you shoot so good? she said i carried an M16 in the AF.

Very nice Rick and very happy she's still doing well

That is an awesome gift and a great weapon, so happy to hear that your wife is doing well.

Side story the lady I was dating bought me a Custom shop worked Kimber Team Match 2 after a year of dating, that did it for me and I've now been married to her 21 years. Don't get frustrated if it doesn't run 100% straight out of the box......keep shooting it. With my match gun it took me 3000 rounds to break it in because the tolerances were so tight/ a little too tight according to Kimber. I asked the guys in the custom shop what they would do, and they all said keep shooting it because once it's broken in you will have the finest weapon you've ever shot they were absolutely correct over 30,000 rounds later and it's still tighter than most factory pistols and it's still a tack driver....Great weapons.:emoji_thumbsup:

Buy some GOOD grease for the rails seeing that it's a stainless gun you don't want them to gall and some GREAT oil for the barrel bushing and hinge pins, trigger and hammer and safeties. FP 10 by Shooter Choice is what all the action shooters I shoot with use and all I have ever used on my Kimber's and Les Baer's ever since, it's great stuff.

Congratulations.
Dan

Glock uses copper anti-sieze on touching parts... Maybe Nickel anti-sieze would be good for SS...

Yep..

Loctite ® Nickel Anti-Seize. Copper-free. Recommended for stainless steel and other metal fittings. For preventing corrosion, seizing, and galling in harsh, chemical environments and temperatures to 2400°F (1315°C). CFIA Approved.

The kimber did pretty good right out of the box. I had a couple wild ones.
