Good morning fellow smokers,

Made a stop at my local Sam's Club yesterday after work and picked up a 8 lb. Boston Butt and a 9 lb. Choice Angus Brisket. Prepped both and threw them on the Yoder YS640 earlier this morning! I'm trying out a new brine I bought the other week for the Boston Butt, Sweetwater Smoked Habanero Brine. I have a feeling mom won't care for it as she doesn't like the hot stuff!

The Brisket is just the simple SPG rub with a beef broth injection. The baked beans will go on the smoker later. Updates to come later on.........................

It does look good. Nice way to start the day. I'm doing some moinks, meatloaf and a shoulder also.
