Hi everyone!

This past Saturday, I made a stir fry for dinner and decided to share the results even though there isn’t anything being smoked or grilled.

I’ve played around with stir fry for years, and they always turn out a little bit different, but I have to say that this one was probably the best I ever made…

Disclaimer: this is not an exact recipe, it’s more of a dump and pour recipe…

5 meats x 4 veggies. Gotta keep the balance right here!😁

Start by gathering your ingredients

Beef (I used a flank steak.)
Pork (I used country style ribs.)
Chicken (tenders)
Sausage (store bought smoked)
Shrimp
Bell pepper
Green onion
Broccoli
Mushrooms

I get everything sliced or chopped before I start frying, because once you start you won’t have much time for more cutting.

Melt about a tablespoon of butter in a cast iron skillet set over medium high heat.
Add the pork and beef.(I missed one pic here.) as you start frying the meat, a lot of juices will gather in the bottom of your pan. Do not dump this out! Keep frying until it evaporates, this leaves all the meat flavor with the meat and only gets rid of the juices.
This also gets the meat just a little chewy, which in my opinion is essential to a proper stir fry.

Meanwhile in a separate pan melt about 2 tablespoons of butter over medium high heat and add your mushrooms and green onions.

Once the mushrooms are just barely starting to turn brown, add the rest of your veggies.

I n the meantime your meat juices should be about dried up, so it’s time to add the shrimp. Then fry again until juices have dried up, and add sausage.

Keep an eye on your veggies as well! When they begin to get soft, dump in about a tablespoon of soy sauce, let that fry for about a minute, then turn off the burner but let the pan sit on it,

Time to add sauce. About 3/4 bottle of General Tso and half a bottle of peanut.

Let this simmer for about 2mins and then dump the veggies in, and remove from heat.

It was a beautiful day, so we decided to eat outside .

And the plate shot…

As always, thanks for looking!

God bless…

That is an awesome looking meal Mike! I never did stir-fry with more than one protein before.
Thanks Steve! I got the idea from going to a Mongolian grill in Grand Forks North Dakota when I was a kid. It was only about an hour south of where we lived in Canada, so we went there quite a bit…

You must have been to Panda Buffet.
My wife loves the grill. They serve steamer clams and I eat probably $30 worth before hitting the buffet

Mike, that is serious messed up chit.

As an Aussie that actually worked in a Chinese restaurant in my Uni days, married a girl from Hong Kong and lived in China for 4 years.... Yeah.

I still want some of that.

Dish me up!

Cheers!

Bill
Thanks Bill! We had a bunch of leftovers, but they’re all gone! Come on over, and I’ll make another one for ya!

Looks great Mike, we love doing a lot of Asin foods here also.

I could sit to a big plate of that ( I would have to pick out the ugly shrimp ) and put on others plate :emoji_laughing: 🤠🤠

David
Thanks David! Lol the shrimp is my favorite part, so no problem there! I’ll take all of yours!

NICE! We're all about the House/Combo/all protein asian food!

How close am I?
There is very little actual stir frying as all is parboiled in advance. Sauces are either bought and cut or made with a house stock which is house made from protein scraps so it is VERY gelatine rich.
