50th Anniversary Cake (Homemade)
I know, I must be boring you guys with all these Anniversary pictures, but I wanted to show you all the Cake Bear Jr’s Wife Bethany made for us.
She’s been making a lot of cakes over the last few years, and is really getting good at it.
This one was a lot easier than the exciting ones she makes for Kid’s Birthdays.
I threw in some other pictures for you guys to chuckle at, so have fun.
I had already showed you all our original Wedding picture from December 27, 1968, so this time it's just pics of all of us Old Coots. Everybody there was over 50, except Bear Jr & his Wife.
Bear Jr invited us & all of our surviving siblings & their spouses, without Kids or Grandkids.
We had a Great time, mostly sitting around the big Dining room table shooting the Bull, and they all had to try to guess some Trivia about us. (Questions similar to the questions they ask in “The Newlyweds” Game Show, like "How did you 2 meet?")
My older Sister came up from NC with her husband of 52 years, and my older Brother was there with his wife of 49 years. My 58 year old Kid Sister was there with her husband of about 15 years.
Mrs Bear’s Widowed older Sister was there, and her younger Brother and his wife of about 45 years.
WE had Smoked Beef Tenderloin from Bear Jr’s Big Green Egg, and Lobster Claws, but Mrs Bear was in charge of the camera, and didn’t get any Food Pics, except the Cake. All I got was a Pic of one of the Beef Sammies I had for a few days, with the leftovers that followed me home. I think I had about 8 of them over the next few days.
Hope you all enjoy the Pics of the “Old Folks”, and don't get too bored.
