My daughter wanted burgers for dinner and my wife and I thought they do sound good. We had planned on just doing them on the stove for an easy dinner nothing fancy just burgers and buns. However me being bored I said ah I’ll try to do them on the grill. It was only 5 degrees up here but I got the Webber going, we made our in and out knock off burger spread, caramaelized onions and a little egg wash with seasoning on the buns. Took longer than we wanted but it was worth it for kind of throwing it all together last minute. Have been using the spread for a few years now. Got the recipe from my friend who is from California and a die hard in and out fan, and it’s awesome. I can post it up if anyone wants to try it. Anyway here are some pics!

Looks awesome!! It’s 20F here tonight and I now feel guilty for making my burgers on the stove in cast iron tonight. I’ve never had In and Out burgers. I’d love to see the sauce recipe.

Thanks guys the recipe is easy it is
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 TBS ketchup
1 tsp yellow mustard
2 TBS pepperoncini relish or chopped up pepperoncini peppers
3 TBS Chopped up Claussen pickles (or pickle relish)
1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp agave

a lot of times if I don’t have the agave I just leave it out and neverreally notice a difference. But we make it and just keep it in the fridge with all the other condiments. But this stuff in a toasted bun is my favorite. Haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like it

I fired up my WK tonight for T-bones . This is the first night in a long time the temp hasn’t been single digits. It’s in the 20’s tonight. Those little kettels are very efficient cookers right over the coals. Long live the Kettel.

The Burgers look Great! I could eat Cheese Burgers, a couple of times a week, but my family won't have it. The Sauce sounds good...JJ

Good looking burgers... but those fries!!!! Were those frozen fries or did you make those?

Thanks man! they were actually rally’s frozen fries that we deep fried. I love them sometimes. A lot of flavor but nothing like homemade fries

Looks great, but nope - not grilling outside in 5 degree temps.

I had in and out once in Vegas but never remembered how they taste (I'm sure you can understand why the memory lose). Can I ask how many pounds of ground meat for this recipe, I would love to to try it.

haha I know what you mean. We have a family of 4 and have use it for about 7 burgers at a time and have left over sauce. If I were to guess I’d say you could use it on 12 burgers. We use a lot of it on our buns haha
