So decided on doing some ribs for the 4th. The wife is pregnant and been craving Hawaiian BBQ and I want ribs. So I searched high and low and behold I found this!

Rub

2 TBS - Granulated Garlic
2 TBS - Kosher Salt
1 TBS - Sweet Paprika
1 TBS - Cayenne Pepper
1 TBS - Granulated Onion
1 TBS - Black Pepper
1 tsp - Cumin
Sauce
1 Cup - Pineapple Juice
1/2 Cup - Ketchup
1/2 Cup - Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup - Light Brown Sugar
2 TBS - Apple Cider Vinegar

Found it on this Web site

Will have pics of the experience!

The family loved it. But it has lots of sugar in it....hence huli huli in Hawaiian means turn turn.

Here is the recipe I have.

1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup sherry or chicken broth
2-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
24 boneless skinless chicken thighs (about 5 pounds)

The chicken is marinated in that sauce, cut the chicken into cubes and put into a zip lock bag, I do mine overnight. Then thread on skewers and grill.
