Made this out of an old propane tank, scrap metal and stainless hardware. No welds. I tested its durability by flipping in down the driveway several times (not on purpose) and it held together quite well. The bottom of the firebox slides to let air in and ash out. I was going to build a pan to catch the ash as it falls out the box, but one of my spare smokey joes does the trick. The tank and box are seasoned with flaxseed oil. Might not be the prettiest thing since I was pretty hammered when I built it, but it works great!

Just a hobby for now. Need to get some better tools before I decide on mass production. I did get my hands on some stainless pipe about the same size from a friend who owns a boatyard. The best part is, it was free!
