Printed a wind vane for the top of the chicken coop.

Since I know nothing about these printers, I have a question. Do you need a file or can you replicate an existing piece?

When a 3D file is created it is in a STL format. This basically contains the shape of the object. That file can be shared, sold or whatever.

You then take the STL file and use a program to turn it into a GCODE file for your specific 3D printer. This will slice the object into layers that the 3D printer understands.

You can share or download 3D files at thingverse.
