36" Bayou Classic

Guys,

Do any of you have first hand experience with this smoker? A friend from work is considering this and the specs look pretty decent. I just hate to recommend something sight unseen. Thanks in advance for your input.

I just looked at one earlier today seemed to be really well built. I don't own one but would probably buy one if I need another smoker

There is a good review of the bayou on YouTube by baby back maniac. It looks well built and you can tell some thought was put into it when making it. Where does your friend live and what kind of deal did he find? I might be able to make other suggestions in that same price range.

Looks good to me!
They say 11 gauge, 0.125" thick. That is 1/8" steel. Pretty thick compared to many Off-sets.
Steel wheels, I like steel wheels. And the thick looking legs.
Looks like it would hold up to child bearing. :confused:
Found a price of $995, but no weight for it. And it's out of stock currently. :(

I got the price from the Bayou website.
