So now lots of eyes on the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn. On very soon so stay tuned.

From watching a few of the talking heads, especially on SEC Network, I'm not the only on that thinks Lane Kiffin walking out on Ole Miss was as bad as bad can be. Not proud in the least that LSU "won" getting him. Not to sure if I will follow them too much next year, or ever. I'll still follow LSU sports, and really looking forward to baseball and softball coming up, but the jury is still on football.

I am just disgusted about the whole ordeal. Like I said before, Lane Kiffin has no loyalty.

I'm torn. I've been an Irish fan since I was a kid.

but being a Hoosier that used to listen to Lee Corso coach IU on my philco on the tractor, I'm excited to see the Hoosiers this year. I've got two favorite teams. Notre Dame, and whoever is playing Ohio State.

Go Indiana
I’m still not 100% sure how this college football thing works now that they have an “official National Championship “ it used to just be bowl games and record but now it’s multiple championship games with a push to “National Championship “

This weekend's games are for conference championships. Tomorrow a selection committee will decide the 12 teams that will go to the playoffs. The last two teams will play for the national championship.

It must have been a few years since you followed college football. The BCS came along in the 90's I believe. The top two teams in the rankings played one game to decide who was the national champ. Then came the college football playoffs. Started with 4 teams to begin with and now that has been expanded to 12 teams. Pretty sure it will go to 16 teams eventually.

The are two "divisions" for D1 football, Football Bowl Series and Football Championship Series. FBS is the large schools and the mess we have now. FCS is like all other college sports in that you win your conference and you are in. Same as highschool sports. I much prefer FCS, as it is your record that gets you in instead a bunch of talking heads and rankings that get you in regardless of your record.

🍻 the exact same way. Some times I’ll tell people I’d rather see OSU lose than ND win. Most* of their fans are the absolute worse
