Just started about 20 lbs of brisket this morning. the wife put our rub on last night, can't wait to eat

When do you want us there? Good luck, but like I always tell others "it's not luck any more" I love this fourm!!
 
11:50 a.m. and 3 of the 4 have probes they are 170º, 172º, and 173º the one on the top shelf does not have a probe

over 14 hours later and the one on the top shelf is done and the other three will be done soon, it's wierd, we have done brisket aonly about 5 or 6 times, but this is the first time it stalled and took awhile to do.

I don't think I mentioned this morning that I sprayed about every hour with equal parts apple juice and Jack Daniels whiskey and a splash of pure maple syrup.

This stuff is excellent, it is so tender and moist, I wish I didn't just start smoking this year, I missed out on eat'n alot of brisket over the years
