I’m going to smoke 2-7.5 lb Boston butts on my pit boss pellet smoker this weekend. I’ve only done one before....it was 8.5 lbs, I used pit boss competition blend pellets, smoked half the time or more on smoke setting, rest at 225. No wrapping. Took about 15-16hrs. Smoke flavor wasn’t quite as strong as I’d like, so this time I’m using hickory.....what else should I do? Not only for smoke, but open to all advice in general. Might start it tonight so I may not be able to use all advice this time, but I will definitely hold on to it for future!!
Thanks in advance!!!
