1st Pulled Pork

Well tried my 1st pulled pork today. I brined the butt and put some of my rub on it.

6:30 AM

At 3:00 pm. Butt on right hits 200. Butt on left at 185.

Am gonna use SoFlaQuer's Sauce. This is my first and lots of BBQ'ers seem to like it. Cooked today for tomorrow. Wife wants to pull and put it in a crockpot.

This one was done at 5:50. Fell apart when we took it off the smoker. Kinda weird that they weren't done closer together.

Looks good man & times can vary considerably for individual butts - that's normal...

Tasted really good. Nice and moist and good smoke. Did 14#'s so this was about half. The butt that was done way earlier was still hot and juicy.

Tomorrow the finale.
