Since my farmer neighbor has been so nice to open and maintain the drive with his equipment I thought I'd return the favor. Rubbed up a 9# Butt sweet & zippy, mostly brown sugar and a healthy dose of "Slap Your Momma" the night before. Pulled it from the frig at 0600hrs so it could rest. This was to be my 1st. burn since the "Votex". At 0730hrs I Loaded the hopper w/ 20# of apple, ran an ex-cord to the grill and turner it on smoke and started clean my work table. It took me a minute/two to know nothing was running, not even any thing on the LED display. Turned it off, unplug it and tried it again. Still nothing. Time to check the book. Couldn't remove the cuircut board panel so I had to remove the bottom grate and cut the zip-ties on the wiring. Removed mother board and using a VOM I checked the fuse, it was good. Put the panel back in then I noticed of the condensation on everything!! After about 1/2hr with my 80,000 BTU jet heater running she fired right up and worked normaly. Anyone else have this problem, should I plan on replacing the mother board w/ an after market upgrade? BTW, this was my 1st burn with a REAL chunk of meat since I bought it, the butt came out just fine and the farmer was happy.
