190 gallon reverse flow

Starting a new smoker its 190 gallon tank I have all my dimetions and this is my 4th build( u can see my first build in the backyard it is a 60 gal rf). I can not remember how the half moon opening works for the life of me. My opening calls for 19" half moon is that 19" accross the tank ? Sorry its been over a year since my last build
