The old grill just gave up. I hadn't used it for a couple of years, the sear burner nor the rotisserie burner just wouldn't stay lit, always blowing out. Flame tamers burnt out, burners pretty much burned out and warped. The valve for each burner was sticking like crazy, had to use vice grips to turn the damn things. Side burner that I hardly ever used was corroded badly.
Yesterday I finally said enough.
I found a brand new, open box Kitchenaid 720-0856V 8 burner gasser. I know, made by Nexgrill, but they made the Jennair and I couldn't argue about the quality or service from them. They completely replaced 2 sets of flame tamers, 2 sets of burners, one sear burner and one rotisserie burner in the first 4 years of ownership. All I ever paid was for shipping. Overall, to me not a bad experience. I found the K/A on craigslist just looking around for grills. Open box, never used for 650$. That's half price or better. And the K/A warranty for it is good. Only thing it doesn't have is a side burner, and as I didn't use the one on the Jennair, don't mind it a bit. Plus a 30 day DOA warranty from the seller. Picking it up in Houston tomorrow. And good news, the rotisserie I have should fit the new grill as well.

Picked the new grill up today. Took about 30 minutes to attach the side shelf and sear burner. Fired up the main burners and the rotisserie burner, took a little over 7 minutes to reach 550 deg. Sear burner won't light, but probably need to adjust the igniter.

Side note: I got this at a place called ALTECH. Located off Pinemont in NW Houston in a warehouse strip. If you're looking for a grill, they have several there. All store returns, damaged in shipping stuff. My grill has a slight dent in one of the door pulls, but my wife didn't see it at all, and I'm gonna contact Nexgrill to see about a warranty replacement. I've registered the grill already with no problems. And if you're looking for widescreen TV's? They have hundreds of them. Didn't look at too closely, but their shelves are full of boxed tv's. I'm gonna call them first when I need another tv. No, I'm not getting anything out of this post, just letting some Houston area people know there are alternatives for shopping. They were extremely friendly and loaded this thing in the back end of my Expedition

"sear burner wouldn't stay lit" I think I found your problem right there - you not burning wood. I've yet to have coals that would not stay lit till they done.

J/k :)
Enjoy your new grill. It's always exciting

You didn't see my signature. PK grill and PK360 grill. I can do wood also. BTW, I readjusted the burner, and it's all golden
