12" tube

i just bought a 12" tube from Todd, i am using a 44" dual door dual burner master built any recommendations on how to place and use once i receive the product.

that looks like it should work. i have the 44" with the tepee vent i was just looking at some mods on the sportsmans elite. i have moved my water pan up to the main smoke box. my old smoker is the model you showed. the lower door is the same height so i have more room from the heat source. i think i could make that work. my follow up is will that distance affect the tube.
