$0.78 "Heavy" pork ribs in Northwest North Carolina through 11/06/18

DJ Galaxy Foods in Mount Airy has "heavy" pork ribs (the whole rack, not trimmed to a "St Louis" cut) for $0.78 a pound through next Tuesday. They only had a few racks this afternoon and those had been cut into three pieces.

They will be getting more in on Saturday. I'd suggest that you call ahead and let them know how many you want as they have a small meat case and may only have a few racks available otherwise. And they generally cut the racks up to fit them into the meat case which likely will not be what you want.

And I haven't checked their Boone, NC store but suspect that they have the same sale.

Great price, I personally can't remember them being that cheap, wish they would get that cheap here in pa, cheapest I've seen here recently was 1.77

Heavy ribs are fine.
I find their flavour a little stronger but I'm good with that.
as long as they are very meaty.
That is my biggest complaint with most ribs, they lack meat!
