On September 11, we pause to honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost, the extraordinary heroism of first responders who ran toward danger, and the enduring resilience of a nation united. Through the darkness of that day, the strength of the American spirit shone brightest—proving that while physical structures may fall, our freedom, courage, and compassion remain unshakable.

We carry the memory of those we lost in our hearts, standing together in solemn tribute to ensure that their stories, their sacrifice, and the unity forged in the aftermath are never forgotten. May we always honor them by protecting liberty, seeking peace, and living as one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. 🗽

Beautiful blue sky here in NJ an hour outside NYC, much like that day until it wasn’t 😥

@DRKsmoking I just read a nice article today about the people of Gander and all the diverted plane passengers they helped out 👍
One day I'll tell my 911 story, it's pretty crazy.
Maybe later if I have the time.

Just to be perfectly clear. I didn't post this in favor of one political party or another. This is to remember the innocent lives lost on that tragic day. Nothing more. Blaming our current President for an attack that happened 25 years ago is absurd and has now takin away from the 2977 lives that we are supposed to be honoring.
This is incredibly sad to see how united we were 25 years ago, to how divided we are today.

Don’t worry John, I think most of us took it in the spirit in which it was posted!

Thank you for reminding us all! 👍

I will never forget. I remember being in my office when the first plane hit and watching on shock on my PC. Remembering those lost lives in reverence isn't political but rather human decency. Anyone taking away from that today is disturbing to say the least.

9 11 WE WILL NEVER FORGET ! AMEN !
I spent a lot of time on Sandy Hook/ Raritan Bay as a kid.
We watched the twin towers slowly rise up as the were being built, Finally using them a a beacon when sailing to keep a straight coarse.
I Later moved down the coast where I am now, Cape May Area. South tip of the state.
When the towers came down you could smell the toxic fumes all the way down here!
Smelled like a huge nasty ZEROX Ink printer, But way worse.
It lingered for about a week.
I was on the phone with a guy when it happened?
I thought he was joking?
SAID TURN ON YUR TV!
I saw it and later the 2nd tower being hit live on TV, Just as everyone else .
1st thing I thought of was my Sister working in NYC!
I called her, told her to get out of NYC ASAP!
She and her husband both took the 1st ferry off NYC to Hoboken,NJ.
Telling me how bad it was to see from that vantage point.

Political?
I do not care what party yur from?
To have anything Negative about the 9 1 attack is down right WRONG!
I am a 3rd generation Americian.
My grandfather WW1 Marines.
My Dad WWII Navy
My FIN WW II Korean War, Fulltime Firefighter.
I did not serve due to medical complications after borth.
My daughter applied TWICE to Marines, but could not get in due to low tests scores. BUT!
She Is An EMPT in 2 towns, Lifeguard Beach Patrol Supervisor and soon to be a fulltime Firefighter soon God Willing. to follow her grandfarther.
Bottom line is this!
We all built this country on values.
Unfortunately there is a lot of Crap out there.
I will leave it at that.
THANK YOU ALL THAT SERVED IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY ! AMEN!
