Getting a yellow flame not blue on my Masterbuilt smoker. Does not appear to have a shutter to adjust the oxygen mix. Has anyone else had this problem and what was your solution. Has anyone retro fitted a 3rd party burner to the Masterbuilt

It appears that there are three common cures in use
Insta cure #1
Mortons Tender Quick

Thank you for your help

Your thoughts good or bad would help in the decision
I have reviewed what I could find on the forum and appreciate that there are some problems which I feel...
I am new to smoking and intend to purchase a smoker in the near future
One that I am considering is the MES 40
In reviewing the group forum for the MES it appears that the electric element has a life span of 3 years and is not replaceable
Would anyone care to comment on this?
Thank you
