Great story. Sounds like you had to work hard to get some good eats. My Dad was a Marine in Vietnam. He never talked much of his experiences but he was proud to serve this country and be a Marine. I salute you for your service and wish you great BBQ!!! Thank you for your service!!
Mike
As the son of a former Marine, great message and Happy Memorial Day!! Looks like some great eats for you today, 2 racks of ribs smoking 3-2-1 method here. Enjoy!!

Momma Bear wanted BBQ for Mother’s Day so I made Brisket but also tried my hand at Burnt Ends. They took about 5 hrs total 3 hrs smoke, added B Sugar, Butter and Honey for another hour and a half. Made a glaze to finish em off. I was pleased with the outcome. Meat candy makes sense now.

Very nice!! I make my own cheese and am planning to smoke a Black Peppercorn Gouda using an A-Maze-N tube very soon. Smoked cheeses are awesome. Enjoy!!
That meal is looking really tasty!! Great job!! I’m looking to upgrade my setup to a pellet grill and Rec-Tec is my top choice. The 700 is way more than I need but looks worth the investment. Happy smoking!!

Very nice!! Those will be tasty. I make my own cheeses and have a Peppercorn Gouda I’m going to slice up and smoke. I bought an A-Maze-N tube to smoke using pellets. The last time I smoked cheese the smoker was too hot. I hope your cheeses are nice and Smokey!!

Fired up the smoker yesterday and smoked 2 racks of Baby Backs for the family. Followed the 3-2-1 method using Applewood chunks. Turned out really good. Code3 Spices Grunt Rub, added Honey and Brown Sugar in the foil wrap. Juicy, tender fall off the bone goodness.

Really tasty. I've used their Grunt Rub as a dry rub and it's been a family favorite. Their Patriot sauce and spicy version are tasty for Ribs or Pulled Pork. Give em a try they support Military and First Responders with each purchase.
